Customer needed a large ring pendant solution
Parks Coffee came to UltraLights Lighting with a request for a very large ring pendant. Not only did they need the pendant 10 feet in diameter, but they also needed the ring pendant capable of being mounted around a large column on their mezzanine . The fixture also needed to utilize integrated LED with 0-10V dimming, universal voltage, 3000K color temperature. They requested a custom red powdercoat.
During the design phase, we decided we would manufacture the pendant in six seperate sections that could be bolted together on the inside with no connections showing on the outside to allow them to hang the fixture around the column. Lamping was accomplished with 3000k LED tape and 0-10V dimming programmable drivers for up and down light. We were able to source the exact color of red powdercoat and apply in our facility. Once the fixture was assempled around the column, a GripLock hanging cable system was used to hang the fixture. Two white power cables to match ceiling color were used to power the LED drivers.
The result was a beautiful, high quality, oversized pendant to highlight their roasting facility.
